Volunteer
Volunteers are a vital and essential part of the Wells community. We currently have volunteers assisting in the Budget Committee; Planning Board; Harbor Advisory Committee; Maine Healthy Beaches Program; Solid Waste Committee; Piping Plover Program and in many other areas. If you would like to volunteer for a day, evening or for the summer season -we have vacancies available. Become a member of the Wells Maine Volunteer Force: Our time is your time!

General Assistance Programs
The General Assistance Program is a state mandated, municipally administered financial assistance program. It was designed to be the program of last resort for residents of the community who are unable to provide for their basic needs. Learn more here.
