| Harbor Advisory Committee | Harbor Advisory Committee provides general review of the operation/ maintenance of the waterfront, fees for moorings, harbor activities such as dredging, boating activities and development, implementing the Harbor Plan, and guidance to Harbor Master. |
| Library Board of Trustees | The Board serves as the governing body of the library for the public to whom the library belongs. It is the obligation of the Board to know the library, its basic mission, its strengths, and needs, and to plan for the library’s future. |
| Lodging Facility Advisory Committee | Advisory Committee appointed by the Board of Selectmen to review and provide recommendations on Lodging Facilities in the Town of Wells. |
| Parking and Traffic Committee | Parking and Traffic Committee to review and recommend parking and traffic control changes in the coastal areas of Wells (Drakes Island, Wells Beach and Moody Beach). |
| Planning Board | The Planning Board is responsible for reviewing all subdivision applications and larger development proposals requiring site plan review. |
| Staff Review Committee | The Staff Review Committee reviews site plan applications that propose up to 6,000 SF of gross floor area and / or land area; fewer than 25 additional parking spaces; and the property is not subject to a prior approval by a higher reviewing authority. |
| Zoning Board of Appeals | Zoning Board of Appeals is responsible for hearing/ deciding appeals by aggrieved parties against decisions of the Code Enforcement Office and Planning Board, and variance appeals made by parties for relief from dimensional requirements of Chapter 145. |
