Wells Harbor Community Park is a community asset, available to everyone for special occasions either outdoors or under the Gazebo or in the Pavilion. However, because of its popularity, plans should be made well in advance. To assure proper use of the facilities, planned events require a small fee and adherence to the Town of Wells Public Facility Use Agreement (PDF) and the Wells Harbor Park User Application at Wells Town Hall or by emailing Jen Frasier at the Parks & Recreation Department or calling 207-361-8984.

Our Scenic Facility

The Wells Harbor Community Park is scenically situated on Harbor Road in Wells, Maine. Its pristine marshes, glimmering dunes and beautiful harbor provide a perfect backdrop for an intimate wedding, family gathering or a special civic event. It is, by any measure, a lovely and ideal setting for memorable occasions. Wells Harbor Community Park is located next to Wells Harbor.

Elements Of The Park

The Jeff Thompson Memorial Playground, the Knights of Columbus Handicapped Accessible Deck, the Donors' Wall, and the Wells Mason Lodge Memorial Bench - have all added to the park in their own ways. Of particular interest, however, are the signature structures we offer such as:

  • Hope Hobbs Gazebo
  • Wells Rotary Pavilion
  • Memorial Playground

Harbor Park Committee

The Harbor Park Committee consists of a group of dedicated volunteers who not only maintain the facility, but sponsor and provide programs with wide community appeal such as the Summer Concert Series, the annual Harbor-Fest and Chicken BBQ, Antique Auto show, and Native-American Pow-Wow. These events are largely cosponsored with civic organizations in Wells that include the Wells Chamber of Commerce and Wells Rotary Club.

Parking & Transportation

Parking is free at the Wells Harbor. The Harbor is also served by the Ogunquit Trolley. For a schedule and route map click here
