As for ‘Electric Power’, 58.9% of electricity generated in Maine in 2023 was produced just by hydroelectric, wind, and solar.
As of April 2022, there were about 6,000 electric and/or hybrid vehicles in Maine. “At the end of 2021, there were 5,577 electric and hybrid vehicles registered in Maine, according to a progress report from the Maine Climate Council”
In May 2022, the number of total registered electric vehicles in Maine was 4,990.
