The Wells Transfer Station accepts solid waste and recycling materials from taxpayers and residents of the Town of Wells. The Transfer Station is set up to be funded primarily through user fees. The Town budgets for facility maintenance and for the employees to operate it.
Transfer Station Policy
All residents will be required to display a Wells Transfer Station sticker on their vehicle for any use of the Transfer Station.
Only trash and debris generated from within the Town of Wells will be accepted. Materials generated in neighboring towns will not be accepted.
